Because of a goiter I cannot eat much fish, iodine is the problem. What food fish has the lowest iodine level? - my goiter

Because I have a goiter, was sick after eating salmon. I'm trying to understand the consumption of fish, the lowest level of iodine, so that you have to add now can see my fat and sodium, low-calorie diet. Have you had a serious disease of the pancreas with a higher level than anyone else in my local hospital had ever seen. It could also be used to in designing a low-fat diet. Janet

Stay away from fish, as a Reef Fish or anything presented in Asian waters and businesses.'s Research, that these fish to be higher in mercury and iodine.

The freshwater fish, such as the Great Lakes region is much less mercury and iodine.

HTH!
